Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush is an American pop boy band formed in 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009, they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group was on Nickelodeon's TV show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th, 2009 to July 25 the 25th of July, 2013. The pilot episode showcased the group's debut single as a promo, "Big Time Rush". The group released three studio albums, BTR in 2010, Elevate 2011 , and 24/Seven 2013. The band in 2014 was on a hiatus that would last until 2021. They returned to live performances in the studio and released "Call It Like It Sees It". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 concurrently with the tv show, Big Time Rush. Then, Nickelodeon partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group to create the show, and also to add original soundtrack to the show. Their debut single, "Big Time Rush" was featured on the show on the 29th of November, 2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon the show was first shown in the U.S. in November 2009 up until the time it was released worldwide. It debuted during a one-hour special preview of the show and is the current theme for the show's opening. The series also saw releases of promotional singles including "City is Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also covered the Play song "Famous", which was written by the singer. It was released to iTunes on the 29th of June, 2010, The second song, "Halfway There", was also released on iTunes after it's premiere on the show. The song quickly became the first single to chart on Billboard Hot 100. Due to the sales of digital music it climbed to number 93. On September 21, 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till I Forget About You", to promote the release of their debut album. The album, which is titled BTR and released on October 11 on the 11th of October, 2010. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. It sold an initial 67,000 copies.
