Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress , best famous for her performance in 24 and the voice acting that she provided for Tess in NaughtyDog's game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. In her early years she was a competitor in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as an actress on Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to star in guest roles on shows like Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. From March to November 2007, she was the regular character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap series General Hospital. She has also performed in theatres such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24 Wersching guest starred on various shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which features her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was an episode regular on the first season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching played the voice actor and mo-cap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via Twitter before her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on December 7 on the 7th of December. Wersching will be playing the role of the Borg queen in the Star Trek: Picard's second season , which begins in September 2021.
